Domain names are the calling name or identification name of a digital platform in virtual world. As you call a person by his own name just like domain names. But there is a huge difference that in the real world we see that there is a name is used by many people like there is a lot of people whom name is Manish Chaubey; But in the virtual world, one domain name for one digital platform. Top Level Domain: Http is the part of a page url not the part of domain, so it’s called “protocol”. Only, the combination of a domain name and top-domain is known as “root domain”. A root domain is an identification name of whole single website. A root domain can’t be same for two websites.

The popular domain suffixes are .com, .net, .org etc. Each domain name suffix is intended to identify the type of website. Like .com domain name suffix express its commercial identity, .org identify its non-profit organizational identity. There are also different domain name suffixes for different countries. Likewww.carmark.in identify that it is an Indian company website, www.google.de identify that google website for Germany.
